The Lincoln Memorial Photo by BlankBlankBlank (Flickr) Again, a strong resemblance, though it could have used more stairs, and some of the decorative elements have apparently worn off. The Capitol Building Photo by Tolka Rover (Flickr) The twiggy remains of the decorative trees are a nice touch, and we wouldnt mind if the real building had gaping holes in it too - we could peek in to keep an eye on our legislators (you know, in case they try to do something crazy like give all our money to a bunch of crappy banks). The Washington Monument Photo by NCinDC (Flickr) A perfect resemblance Okay, so the Washington Monument is basically just a stick of marble, granite, and sandstone (thanks Wikipedia),and if they couldnt get that right they should have quit making games to work on basic motor control, but its a good start. Not being residents of D.C.,Fallout3 gave us the perfect opportunity to take a tour of the area without actually having to get off our asses and do something.Įnough, at least, to stick screenshots next to photos and look at them. The resemblance was too strong for some - certain D.C.įallout 3 subway ads which depicted their city in ruins, claiming they didnt need to be reminded that D.C. I have FOSE, Archive invalidation invalidated, and my fallout3.exe is large address aware.
#FALLOUT 3 DC MOODS PATCH#
I don't have any of the DLC but I have the lastest official patch and unofficial patch up to 1.3 (latest for no DLC). I'm also using HQ terrain overhaul, flora overhaul set to forested, fallout redesigned, fallout reanimated and FOOK2. I disable DC Moods through NMM and it works fine. But now I'm in the DC city area and every time I load my latest save I get 1 or 2 seconds of game before it crashes out.
Throughout the game (6-8 hours of play) I've had the occasional crash out to desktop during play, but it's been manageable - start the game again and go.

I can't find anyone reporting similar symptoms here but my friend had the same issue and never resolved it, so I thought I'd ask. OMG it works !!! Enabling Archive Invalidation did the trick ! Thank you so much my friend !Įdited by Danny7GTX, 12 February 2016 - 08:19 PM. You can enable Archive Invalidation in your mod manager settings. Try waiting for a couple of days, clouds should appear. But you should still get some vanilla clouds thou. Have you enabled Archive Invalidation? This mod comes with custom cloud meshes/textures and if you have not enabled Archive Invalidation new clouds will not work. Screenshot: Sarcarsis wrote: I should have asked from the beginning. The mod is working except for the clouds, as I can tell the hue and lighting is different from the vanilla version. Not sure what is preventing it from spawning. The sky is basically a plain blue or reddish if sunset, with sun but zero clouds. So do I use the in-game's wait function or do I have to wait realtime hours for the mod to take into effect ?ĮDIT: I've already set the esp to the lowest in the plugins order and I've used the wait function for more than 24 hrs in game, still no sign of the clouds. Danny7GTX wrote: Thanks for the reply Sarcarsis. Wait for a couple of ingame hours, they should appear. Was there some steps that I missed ? Sarcarsis wrote: Put the plugin at the very bottom of your load order. Everything seems fine, I can tell the lighting difference from Moriarty's Saloon, however the Skies do not have clouds in it and I just don't understand why.
